SCRIPTURES THAT KEEP ME GOING – UNCONVENTIONAL STYLES BLOG

Hello fashion lovers,

Today`s post features an amazing graphic tee I found at Roses here in my hometown. As a millennial Christian, it is sometimes hard for me to be bold about my beliefs without being criticized. However, I am growing in my faith and boldness. Today I will be sharing with you 4 scriptures that keep me going.

The first scripture is John 3:16.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

This scripture helps me to reflect on God`s love. His love for me is unlike any other. He loves me so much that he has allowed my dreams to start coming true and forgives me of all my sins. I`m not worthy, but he still loves me.

The next one is Hebrews 11:1.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”.

Faith has been a vital part of my life. When you lose hope you have nothing. My faith in God has made me so blessed and free. I cannot begin to put into words the peace of mind I now have knowing that God has it all under control.

Next, we have Philipians 4:13.

” I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”.

This is a scripture that we all should take heed too. Strength is a key ingredient in the recipe for success. When you are at your strongest point, amazing things can happen. You can change lives and you can accomplish goals.

I wanted to do this one last. Jeremiah 29:11 is one that will make you want to follow Jesus or want to start knowing more about him.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.

This scripture almost brings me to tears. It`s amazing to know that God never had plans for us to have a miserable, sad, or unfulfilled life. He wants to live in prosperity. If we obey him and never let up on our thanks to him, he will always give us what we need and sometimes what we want. Don`t follow God just because of what he can do for you but, follow him for what he`s done.

I hope this post gives you encouragement and hope. If you are ever having a low day, a bad time or things may just seem like they are not happening as fast as they should, please revisit these scriptures. You can make it and you will make it. The bad times will be testimonies of the warrior God has made you.
