LBD THE UNCONVENTIONAL STYLES WAY – UNCONVENTIONAL STYLES BLOG

Hello fashion lovers,

Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite black dresses and my favorite pair of oxfords. My little black dress collection is constantly growing. I love how they can be dressed up or down. The LBD is a powerful piece in a woman`s wardrobe. Whenever in doubt, pull that little black dress out!

I thrifted this one from my local goodwill. One tip I can give you when it comes to shopping for the little black dress is to look at the details. As a personal stylist, I stress this to my clients constantly. There are many black dresses in the stores and online. Finding the right one for you and your style is worth the time and money.

When I initially saw this dress I got so excited. I loved the cut of the sleeves and loose fit of the dress. As, I have gotten older I have started looking for great ways to camouflage certain parts of my body and that will flatter me during that time of the month. I decided to pair it with 2 statement pieces because it was so plain. This belt bag was perfect for cinching my waist in just a little. The oxfords were a purchase from Zooshoo ( an amazing online store that has shoes and heels with so much character ) and they have become my hall of famers!

Find the little black dress that is versatile. I love this one because I can wear it to work and to church. Make sure that your wardrobe works for you.
