HOLIDAY WEAR – UNCONVENTIONAL STYLES BLOG

Hello fashion lovers,

Welcome back! So, lets talk holiday wear. When I think of holiday wear I think of velvet, sequin, or tulle. These 3 fabrics can be the holiday “it” factor for your outfit. To see 2 of the most trending holiday trends check out my stye advice instagram account here. I have put together the ultimate holiday inspiration board on my Pinterest here.

The key theme for holiday wear this season is statement glam. Staying with that theme, I paired together this subtle but, glam look that is appropriate for an office setting.

I thrifted this velvet blazer a few years ago and it is still a staple in my wardrobe every year. Velvet keeps it holiday while the fact that it is a blazer keeps it office appropriate. I added this layered statement necklace to add a bit of glam to the outfit.

The pants are my absolute fave! Unfortunately, I didn’t have an actual sequin piece that would have that subtle, holiday, glam look I was looking for. So, I went on a hunt in my closet and found these beauties. They are the perfect work trouser with a bit of a sparkle to them. It allowed me to incorporate the sparkle that sequin would during the holiday season.
