One thing I really want to add to my blog content in 2020 is church wear. This was brought to my attention sometime last year. I never got around to it because, well I’m always late for Sunday School. *insert head in hand emoji* However, now that I have gotten better with my time management, I am now up early enough to take content photos ahead of time.

Winter fashion is in full effect. I went shopping through my wardrobe this morning and looked for pieces I hadn’t worn in a while. The dress in today’s outfit is one of my favorites in my closet. It’s black and white, it is good for layering, and it was thrifted!

Now when it comes to church wear, finding dresses that fit appropriately are such a struggle. The dresses I find while shopping are either too short or to tight. This one comes to my knees and is an A-Line shape so this worked perfectly.

If you are addicted to layering like I am, then you need a sheer shirt in your life. I have multiple styles of sheer black shirts and I wear them to death. Adding this long sleeves sheer shirt with this dress added a little more style to the whole outfit. In your outfit, minor changes can make huge differences.

Now we all know I was going to find a way to incorporate a blazer. I am obsessed with this oversized black blazer I stole from my mother’s closet, thanks mom! It was the perfect piece of outerwear to pair with this dress. I didn’t want anything to clash with the dress and this blazer brought the whole look to a great finish. I love classic and timeless pieces.

I think sometimes as Church goers we loose sight of our personal style. You can still be modest and fly. In every are of your life you should have a wardrobe that allows you to be confident. My pastor always says God needs strong Christians not wimpy ones. So, dress up for church but don’t loose your personal style. There is always a way to be modest and stylish, especially in the kingdom!
